Lady Nightelf by murmeltierchen Lady Nightelf by murmeltierchen
Photographer: :iconlinriel777:

Cosplay. :iconmurmeltierchen:

Finally a picture of my new costume: Tyrande Whisperwind from World of Warcraft.
It was something new for me in many ways... dying a wig myself, trying out bodypainting, working with Wonderflex, casting resin and Friendly Plastic...

Though I really really liked the loading screen picture from the beginning I wasn't sure if this one would suit me.
She looks so very ladylike, serious and determined.
Again something new for me considerung most of my costumes were more "cute".

But I think it does actually suit me. =)
Though some parts are still missing or not how I wanted them to be I'm very satisfied.

And many thanks to Brillosaurus (Animexx, sadly not a dA)! :)
Though the gamescom in germany isn't exactly a good location for photos the few pictures we took turned out so well.

Thank you and yes, it actually is :) Sadly not very nightelf-ish because I couldn't find nice silverish-white lenses in time..

Vincent did a wonderful job, it's still one of my favourite Tyrande pictures :D
You've already seen it elsewhere? :o May I ask where?

You're welcome!
I really love his work! I just started with Cosplay-Photography and honestly? He's one of the best we have in switzerland :D
Of course I learned it's not just the photographer, also the cosplayer does a really big part! If both are on a high level, it's a "win" for everyone! ^^
I don't remember anymore sry, but I remember that I saw it ^^"

Hey! I'm thinking of cosplaying a nightelf and I'm trying to figure out where/what ears to use and how to do or where to buy the makeup. Do you mind telling me what you used?

Hey!
I borrowed the ears from a friend but you can purchase long elven ears aswell on the internet.
For the bodypainting I used Kryolan aquacolor. If you fix it with spray or powder it stays on really long and even if something gets on your costume you can simply wash it unlike supracolor which is oil-based and MUCH harder to remove.
